Howard Schwartzer

Howard was an employee of the Clark County Health District as an educator for 12 years. Prior to that he owned restaurants and bars in New York City. Howard was a 35-year member of Temple Beth Shalom and a 25-year member of Las Vegas Board of Realtors. He was also an honorary member of the Las Vegas Chapter of the American Culinary Federation.

Daniel Pauluk, Environmental Health Specialist with the Southern Nevada Health District since 1998. He both routine inspections as well as being a School and Childcare Plan Review Specialist. He was a strong and effective advocate for child safety.

Rod Wilkes was the Environmental health Supervisor for BHPS-Health Division. He retired in 1982 and moved to Georgia.

Mike Tackett worked as an environmentalist for the Washoe County District Health Department - Environmental and Air Quality Divisions in the 1970s early 80s' . He was also a high school math and science teacher.

Clare A. Schmutz

Clare Schmutz, former Director of Environmental Health at the Clark County Health District, former Chairman of  the Nevada Board of REHS and a long time member and supporter of NEHA passed away on June 23, 2005.

He shall be missed.
